Jared Austin Sweeney Jared Austin Sweeney was born to Hap and Christy Lambert Sweeney on March 5, 1993 in Hanford, California. God took him home on Sunday, May 6, following a tragic automobile accident while traveling with his lifelong friends, Robert (Rob) and Mathew Andrade. Jared's life was short but full. He had many interests which included Moto-Cross, collecting and shooting guns, Martial Arts, and football. He enjoyed most contact sports. His smile was contagious. He found good in everyone. He was protective by nature, particularly of the vulnerable, often at the at the expense of his own well being. He didn't hold grudges and had a very forgiving heart. His life made an impact on those around him. He lived in Tulare for 18 years and attended high school at Tulare Union and Mission Oak. His church affiliation was with Calvary Chapel. Jared had a personal relationship with our Lord..praying, reading the Bible and studying His word. It gave him a sense of peace. Jared always said his mother was his best friend and that his heart belonged to her. His younger brother Jace was his other half. They shared a special bond..... He is survived by his mother and step-father, Christy and James Page; father and step-mother, Hap and Deanna Sweeney; his brother Jace, sisters Deja and Ashtyn Page; grandparents June and Steve Canby and J. W. and Brandi Williams; great grandmother Joy Lambert and great grandfather Johnny A. Lewis. He also survived by a large extended family. Jared was preceded in death by his grandfathers Sheryl Glen Lambert and Ed Sweeney. Memorial graveside services will be held Friday, May 11, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the Tulare District Cemetery located at Kern and Blackstone. Arrangements by Peers Lorentzen Funeral Services.
