Our beloved Mother and Grandmother, Josefina G. Estrada was born on March 19, 1921. She entered eternal life on December 9, 2015. She was the daughter of Zerapio Gomez and Juanita De Leon. Josefina loved the Lord and her family with great joy. After she left Texas with her husband and children, she never looked back, as she loved California so much. She settled in the small town of Woodlake for many years. Our mother was a homemaker in every sense of the word, always ready to feed her family and friends, our beloved mother would help and feed anyone in need. Josefina was preceded in death by her husband, Francisco and by her parents, also by her son Oscar G. Estrada, daughters Irma Estrada, Elvira Lopez and Hortencia Estrada, and by grandson Andres Castillo, granddaughter Irma Castillo. Josefina is survived by Manuel Lopez (Eldelmira), Raul Lopez (Conchita), Olga Olivas (Louie), Elsa Estrada-Morales (Rick), Hector Estrada (Lenor), Elmer Estrada (Kristen), Dwight Estrada (Karen). Josefina is also survived by 38 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and a great great grandchild. Last but not least her golden son in law Refugio Castillo. We will miss you mom, Madre, Mami, Chet'e, Ahuelita, Grandma, Wela Josie, What an awesome mother we will miss you Mami.
A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, December 13, 2015, 5:00PM at the Apostolic Truth Tabernacle Church, 100 West School in Visalia. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, December 14, 2015, 9:00AM at the same location with burial to follow at Visalia District Cemetery. Condolences can be made to www.salseranddillard.com
