Keith Morgan Marion "Keith" Morgan passed away July 18, 2012 after 94 wonderful years. He was born September 19, 1917 to Fred and Ada Morgan in Fillmore, Oklahoma. Keith first came to Tulare in 1938 with his cousins. He stayed for three months and then returned to Oklahoma to ask his sweetheart Floy to marry him. They were married February 5, 1939 (Floy's 20th birthday) and moved to Tulare. Keith soon went to work for 25 cents an hour thinning peaches. In December of 1941 they moved to Hawthorne where Keith went to work for Northrop Aircraft. He worked there for 19 years. Then in August of 1960 they purchased a ranch east of Tulare and began farming. He farmed for 14 years and then retired and moved into town. Keith loved watching the Los Angeles Lakers, gardening and being outdoors, tinkering with his hands and reminiscing about "days gone by." He was known for being a prankster and loved to gamble. He never met a piece of "junk" and could turn anything into something. He was our Mr. Fix It and would always say, "I can fix anything except a broken heart." Keith was also known as Mr. Impatient. If you said you would be there at 5, you better be there 5 minutes before. One of his favorite sayings was, "You're as handy as a pocket on a shirt." Keith was preceded in death by his mother and father; his wife of 59 years, Floy Morgan; his son, Harold Morgan; a grandson, B. J. Morgan and all his brothers and sisters: Wilma Eastman, Juanita Hays, Achilee Morgan, Glen Morgan, Kenneth Morgan and Sybil Joyce Pafford. He is survived by his daughter, Janice Morgan of Tulare; 8 grandchildren, Lisa (Chad) Gressman, Sandra (Jose) Miranda, Michael (Tammy) Morgan, Lynore (Bob) Flatt, Brad Morgan, Bryan Keith Morgan, Laura Morgan and Reba Morgan; 12 great grandchildren, Cody, Kyle and Brooke Gressman, Isaac, Delainey and Sophia Miranda, Jessica, Rebecca and Mellissa Morgan, Andrew and Lyndsay Monk and Sabrina Hintz; four great-great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and special friend Susan Swayne whom Keith thought of as a daughter. Visitation will be 12-8 p.m., Sunday, July 22, 2012 at Peers Lorentzen Funeral Chapel. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m., Monday, July 23, 2012 at Tulare District Cemetery.
