Lee Olen Stewart Lee Olen Stewart, 90 of Visalia, California passed away on Sunday, May 5, 2013 in Visalia, California surrounded by his loving family. Lee was born in Wellston, Oklahoma on January 1, 1923 to Claud and Lilah Stewart. He was raised and educated in Oklahoma. On January 1, 1942 he married Ethel Fisk in Oklahoma. The following year, Lee and Ethel moved to Whittier, California for a short time and then moved to Visalia to make their home and raise their two daughters, Glenda and Beverly. On December 7, 1943, Lee entered the United States Navy and served until the end of World War II. Lee worked for many years as a Truck Driver for Carnation and in 1985 retired from Real Fresh where he worked as a Forklift Driver for 15 years. Lee enjoyed deer hunting, singing and writing religious songs but mostly enjoyed working. Lee visited Home Town Buffet daily where he made many friends. He was known as a wonderful man who loved his family. He was so proud of his four grandsons and his great grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Lee leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 71 years, Ethel of Visalia; two loving daughters, Glenda Wadkins and husband Jerry and Beverly Coffman and husband Les, both of Visalia; four loving grandsons: Tim McElhaney, Denny McElhaney Kevin Coffman and wife Mona and Chris Coffman and wife Adrienne, and six great grandchildren: Denny McElhaney, Jr., Michaela Coffman, Mackenzie Coffman, Kaitlyn Coffman, Ethan Coffman and Ryan Coffman. Lee was preceded in death by his parents, Claud and Lilah, two siblings, Othela Smith and Evelyn Palmer and his great grandson, Wyatt Coffman. Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 12, 2013 from 4 - 8 pm. at Miller Memorial Chapel, 1120 W. Goshen Avenue in Visalia, CA. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at the Visalia District Cemetery, 1300 W. Goshen Avenue in Visalia, CA.
