Lloyd Norman Venable Well done, my good and faithful servant. Lloyd Norman Venable, 84, went to be with Jesus on February 3, 2013. He was born June 15, 1928. Lloyd had a degree in Mortuary Science which he used in the Army. Lloyd loved baseball, fishing and nurturing his orchids, peach and orange trees. He had a positive attitude and always expected the best. He had a knack for fixing things and taught us patience and perseverence paid off. Family was important to him. He was especially proud and close to his grandson, Justin and wished that his son, Jeff and family lived closer. He leaves behind his wife, Helen of 61 years; brother, Jerry Venable; daughter, Caryn Wood; son, Jeff & Joan Venable, and grandchildren: Lynn & Matt Corbin, Justin & Elizabeth Wood, Lisa & Ethan Amero, Rick, Luke and Alan; and three great-grandchildren. A service celebrating his life will be held at GateWay Church of Visalia on February 23rd at 11 a.m. Words cannot express the love his family has for him and how greatly he will be missed.
