Lloyd Roberts September 16, 1927 - June 21, 2012 Lloyd Roberts was born on September 16, 1927 to Herman and Faye Roberts in Apache, Oklahoma. He went home on June 21, 2012 in Visalia, CA. Lloyd served in the United States Navy during Wold War II on the island of Saipan, where he turned 18 years old. His service to his country was something that he was very proud of. He was also proud of his sons and grandsons that have served and are currently serving. Lloyd worked for 40 years in the Central Valley for mutilple car dealerships in sales and management. He married Wanda Cordle-Roadcap, on November 2, 1968 in San Francisco, CA joining their families together. Lloyd loved to spend time with his family and enjoyed many family BBQs, holiday dinners and camping trips with his children and grandchildren. His greatest joy in his retirement has been traveling with his beloved wife Wanda to many places in their motor home. He especially loved camping at the beach. Lloyd was a friend to everyone he met and will be greatly missed. He is preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Faye, brothers: Walter, Orville and Chester, and sisters: Margaret, Odie Mae, and Wilma. Lloyd is survived by his sons: Mark Roberts, his wife Chrisitna and their four children of Visalia, CA; Bruce Roberts, his wife Lindsey and their four children of Frisco, TX; Jeffrey Roadcap, his wife Carla and their three children of Linden, TX; Stephen Roadcap, his wife Lisa and their two children of Visalia, CA. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren, his brother Virgil Roberts of Salina, OK and his sister Betty Gilmore of Oklahoma City, OK. A viewing will be held on Tuesday June 26, 2012 from 6-8pm at Miller Memorial Chapel in Visalia. Memorial Service will be held on June 27, 2012 at 12pm preceded by a private burial.
