Louis R. Johnson "Buck" L.R. "Buck" Johnson, 97, left this life to be with the Lord on January 27, 2013. He was born one of eight siblings, in Leedy, Oklahoma, on October 9, 1915 to the late Buford and Ettnia Johnson. Buck was raised on the Family Farm and worked the land until he was in his twenties. He then migrated to the West Coast, where he traveled around different states and areas until he met and married the Love of His Life, Adlee Flood, on December 3, 1942 (recently enjoying their 70th Anniversary). After settling in the Farmersville area in 1945, he got into the furniture moving and storage business. In 1960, he became a Self-Employed Contract Trucker hauling electronics cross country for Mayflower Co., along the way, settling his family in the Tulare area. In the mid 1970's, his wife, Adlee, got her commercial license and assisted with the driving duties on all the "Roads of America". After their retirement in the late 1980's, they settled on their ten acres, where Buck tended to the "very large" yard and vegetable garden. His favorite pastime besides watching old western movies was sitting on his big front porch and watching traffic going up and down Highway 99. Buck is survived by his loving wife, Adlee, son Dale and wife Toni, son Bill and love Margaret, son Wayne and wife Johnnie. Also surviving is grandson Craig and wife Brenda, granddaughter Tricia, granddaughter Shelly and husband Bobby, granddaughter Allison and husband David, granddaughter Devon and husband John, granddaughter Tamie and husband Jason, grandsons Adam and Jeremy, and grandsons Jason and Justin.
