Mary A. Verissimo Mary A. Verissimo, a retired nurse's aide, a Tulare, Ca. resident for 56 years, went to be with the Lord March 6, 2013. Born in Hanford, Ca. November 4, 1916 to John B. and Mary Cardoza. She is survived by a sister Linda Baldwin of Kingsburg, Ca., a brother John Cardoza (Beverly) of Apple Valley, Ca., and three children David (Camille) of Visalia, Fran Wood (Ron) of Elk Grove, Ca., Paul (Linda) of Visalia. She is also survived by daughter-in-law Rebecca Verissimo of Tulare, eight Grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren, and two Great-Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, son Richard, brother Manuel Cardoza, and grandson Tommy. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2013, 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Miller's Tulare Funeral Home, 151 North "H" Street, Tulare, Ca. Recitation of the Rosary and Mass of the Resurrection will be held on Wednesday, March 13, 2013, 1:00 p.m. at St. Rita's Catholic Church, 954 South "O" Street, Tulare, Ca., with burial at North Tulare Cemetery.
