Mary Bucz

Mrs. Mary Ann Bucz of Visalia passed away Wednesday November 10, 2010 in Visalia at the age of 79. Mrs. Bucz was born December 10, 1931 in Chicago, Illinois to Leo and Anna Olsen. In 1947, she married the love of her life the late Joseph Bucz and together settled in Chicago, Illinois and started their family. Mary Ann worked part-time at Visalia Oaks Baseball Park. She was the inspiration for Visalia Blues, Brews and BBQ's for many years frequently making appearances. She was a people person enjoying trips to Laughlin, and spending time with family and friends. She will be best remembered as a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother. She will be dearly missed. She is survived by 2 sons, Bruce Bucz of Visalia, Joseph Bucz of Los Angeles; 2 daughters, Roxanne Torres of Visalia; Joanne Jones and husband Ken of Ben Lomond, 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years, Joseph Bucz in 2000 and a daughter in-law Teri Bucz in 2008. A rosary and memorial service will be held Saturday, November 20, 2010, 6:00 p.m. at Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel.
