Robert (Bob) A. Lee (Retired Law Enforcement) Robert A. Lee passed away Monday, February 18th, 2013 from heart failure. Bob was born a twin in Pomona, California on August 13, 1940 to Howard and Mattie (Pat) Lee. In 1949, the family moved to Visalia and owned Chambers and Lee Dry Cleaners on North Willis. He graduated from Mt. Whitney High School, Class of 1958, where he met, and later married Beverly J. Harmon in 1959. They had three children, Kari, Shari and Robert (Bobby). In 1963, he joined the Visalia Police Department before attending the CHP Academy in Sacramento. He served as an officer of the California Highway Patrol mostly in Tulare County from 1965-1984. He also had a landscaping business in Visalia for many years. Bob was a skilled handyman, helping anyone in need. In 1981, Bob met Alesia (Lisa) Haverty, and they married in 1993. Together, they enjoyed taking trips in their RV across the United States, including Alaska, Montana and Idaho. An avid fisherman, Bob was always planning his next trip. He loved to cook for family and friends and was known for his delicious cooking at the Visalia Elks Lodge, where he was a member for many years and served as Exalted Ruler from 2011-2012. He was also a member and past President of the Woodlake Lions Club, and was actively involved in the Woodlake Rodeo for many years. Bob was preceded in death by both of his parents, as well as his brother James (Jimmy) Lee. He is survived by his wife, Alesia of Visalia, twin brother, Charles Lee and wife Janice,their children Teresa and Matt of Visalia, daughter Kari and husband Mike Josephson of Bakersfield, daughter Shari and husband Bob Williams of Visalia, son Robert J. Lee and wife Valerie of Visalia, and step-daughter Tish Silman and husband Darian of Alabama. Bob's humor will be greatly missed by his grand-children: Lauren and Mallory Moore, McKenzie and Katie Williams, Danielle, Matthew, and Brandon Lee, Wyatt, Austin, and Kody Silman, Jenna Wilson, and James, John and Katie Josephson. He was proud to be the great-grandfather of Joshua Moore, Landon Ray, Owen Wilson and James Josephson. He also leaves behind their dog Klee. A celebration of Bob's life will take place at the Visalia Elk's Lodge, 3100 W. Main Street on Friday, March 1, 2013 at 11am. The family asks in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the
