Roberta Krackov Obituary
Roberta (Bobby) Krackov Roberta (Bobby) Krackov died on Christmas Eve. The daughter of Jewish immigrants from Europe, she was born in Chicago on October 11, 1931 to Melanie and Maurice Rapaport. She attended the University of Wisconsin, Madison, where she met and fell in love with a New Yorker, Everett Krackov. Although Bobby assumed she would live in Manhattan, she ended up moving to Visalia after her marriage in 1950 - where she lived the rest of her life. She raised three daughters, was an avid tennis player, and was known for baking an assortment of fancy cookies that she gave to her friends at Christmas. Friends and family could track her in crowd by her unique cackle; she liked to laugh at people's stories. She coaxed many orchids to bloom. A sweet and caring person, Bobby was blessed by close friendships. She will be deeply missed by family and friends. Her husband Everett pre-deceased her. Bobby is survived by three daughters: Mimi, Beth, and Pat; sons-in-laws, Oren Ridenour and Joseph Sablon; and grandchildren, Alicia Ridenour and Gabriel Salgado.
