Roger L. Gordon Roger L. Gordon, resident of Saratoga, CA, was born March 25, 1942 in Neosho, Missouri and passed away at home in Saratoga July 26, 2012 surrounded by his family. Son of William and Beatrice Gordon (deceased), he is survived by his sons, Michael (Cindy) and Steven, and their mother, Virginia; brother of Richard Gordon (Ila), Patricia Joncoaltz, Sally Hickman (Jack), Jerry Gordon (Linda), Diane Beck (Donn) and Mike Gordon (Karen); grandfather to Andrew, Joshua and Amanda; uncle of many nieces and nephews. Roger's career was spent at San Francisco Federal Savings & Loan where he started working part-time while attending San Jose State. After 35 great years, he retired as President, CEO and Chairman of the Board. He spent the last 15 years of his life enjoying his family and close friends. A Celebration of his life will be held at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 14103 Saratoga Ave., Saratoga on Friday, August 10, 2012 at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to Advent Group Ministries (800-98-ADVENT) in Roger's name.
