Ronald Collins Business Owner Ronald O. Collins Born May 27, 1927 in Clanton, Alabama and died on July 12, 2012 in Visalia, CA, at the age of 86. Graveside services will be held at Greenlawn Southwest at 2739 Panama Lane in Bakersfield on Monday July 23, 2012 at 10 a.m. Ronald is survived by his wife Peggie Collins of Visalia , CA. and their son David W. Collins of Bakersfield, his daughter in law Joanne Esquibel-Collins, his grandson, Blaine, and his granddaughter Taryn. Ron and Peggie were married in Reno, Nevada on July 10, 1963. Ron was born in Clanton, Alabama and lived the remainder of his life in Visalia CA. He was a dedicated and devoted husband and father. He was a gentle and loving man, and his grandchildren were his world. Ron worked in the antique and appliance repair business for over 50 years. His other Passion was for NASCAR, and enjoyed spending time with his family at California Speedway. Ron will be missed greatly by everyone that knew his heart.
