Roy Cole Sr. Equipment Specialist Roy Cole Sr., 82, of Visalia passed away Sunday, May 27, 2012. Roy was born in Wheeler, Texas May 2, 1930 to Luther and Marie Cole. He enlisted in the United States Army and served in the Korean War. He married Genevieve Gage March 18, 1954. Roy worked as an equipment specialist at Point Mugu Naval Air Missile Base for 25 years. He was a founding member of Zion Ministries and loved to go out on missionary trips. Roy was preceded in death by his parents Luther and Marie, and brothers Virgil, Ralph, and Troy and Daughter in-law Rhonda Cole. He is survived by his wife Genevieve, daughters, Diane Cole of Visalia, Ca. and Denise Jenkins of Roseburg, Oregon, sons, Roy Cole of Charleston, Arkansas and Roger Cole of Tahoe Vista, Ca. brothers, Rex Cole of Bakersfield, Ca. and Loyd Cole of Payson, Arizona and sister, Lorene Hackler of Hesperia, Ca. Roy had 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers please send donations specified to missions on care of Zion Ministries, P.O. Box 4267, Ventura, Ca. 93007 A Memorial service will be held Saturday, June 2, 2012 at Salser and Dillard Funeral Chapel at 2 p.m. Private burial.
