Steve A. Tayaba August 19, 1950 - November 28, 2012 Steve Andrea Tayaba peacefully passed away at home with his wife Karen and eldest daughter Monica at his side. He was a private man with quiet stature, gentle voice and a warm hug. He will be missed every minute of every day by his wife Karen, who cherished each moment they spent together. Steve has joined his late wife of 31 years, Christine Tayaba. He was raised and grew up in his hometown of Visalia and later relocated to Placerville with his family. He was born August 19, 1950 in Fullerton, CA in the warmth of a summer's day to his parents, Teodorico and Georgiana Tayaba. Steve was a truck driver most of his life driving the California West Coast, he was proud of his service in the Marine Corps, a Vietnam Veteran and a member of the Shingle Springs Band of Miwok Indians and Philippine decent. Steve is preceded in death by, father Teodorico, brother Teodorico, Jr., daughter Sandra and wife Christine Tayaba. Steve is survived by his wife Karen, daughters: Monica, Lorrie and Andrea; Mother Georgiana of Placerville and siblings: Nani of Upland, CA, Ambrose, Patricia, Rosemary, Lorraine-HoneyBee and Georgiana-Baby of Placerville. Funeral Services have been held Private inurnment will be held at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery, Dixon, CA.
