Sydney Elizabeth Lemon Sydney Elizabeth Lemon gained her ultimate reward and went home to be with Jesus on Tuesday, August 26, 2014. She was born on April 17, 2002 and in an instant changed the lives of so very many people. She spent her entire life in Visalia, but touched people around the world. Her infectious smile, intoxicating laugh, and shining spirit were a light to everyone she encountered. She had just finished attending Crestwood elementary school where she thrived in ELA and won many reading awards. She loved to write stories, create characters, and breathe life into them. She had developed a passion for science, and while in the hospital even wanted to conduct experiments. Sydney was a consummate performer and loved to entertain. She was a dancer at The City PAA and The Ruby Slipper PAA, she was part of the LCA, CLIParts, TCOE, Enchanted Playhouse, COS, and Encore Theatre. She was an avid Dr. Who fan, loved My Little Ponies, and collected Build a Bears. She was also part of the Exeter archery club and loved hitting the bullseye. Sydney is survived by her parents David and Heather Lemon, her grandparents, her large extended family, and her beloved friends. Though her body may be gone from our sight, her spirit lives on in Heaven, and will remain in our hearts and minds until we meet again. Her light will continue to shine brightly. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that remembrances be made to the Christ Lutheran Church Celebration of Life fund. Visitation will be held Sunday, August 31 from 2pm to 6pm at Salser and Dillard Funeral Chapel, 127 E.
