Virginia Kathleen De La Hoz Former Visalia resident, Virginia Kathleen De La Hoz, 53 of Los Banos, California passed away on Thursday, November 29, 2012 in Los Banos, California, surrounded by her loving family. Virginia was born in Visalia, California on July 30, 1959 to Jose and Martha Amancio. She attended Goshen Elementary, Mt. Whitney High School and graduated in Porterville, California. Virginia moved to Los Banos, California in 1989. She was attending Merced Junior College. Virginia was of Christian faith. She loved being a homemaker and was a great cook. She also enjoyed fishing, camping, working in her yard, traveling to the coast and visiting the casinos. She was a loving and caring lady who will be missed dearly by her family and those that knew and loved her. Virginia was preceded in death by her father, Jose Amancio in 2003 and her brother, Joe Richard Amancio in 2011. Virginia is survived by her three children: Tony De La Hoz, Jr. and wife, Kimberly of Visalia, Vincent De La Hoz of Boston, Massachusetts and Sonia De La Hoz of Modesto, CA; her mother, Martha Amancio of Madera, CA; one brother, Ralph Amancio of Goshen, CA; and five very special grandchildren: Fabian Valdivieso, Elias De La Hoz, Diego De La Hoz, Jonathan Duran and Emma Watkins. Memorial services will be held on Friday, December 7, 2012 at 11 am at Miller Memorial Chapel, 1120 W. Goshen Avenue in Visalia, CA. Inurnment will follow at Visalia District Cemetery.
