William Frederick Voges Sr., "Fred," "Bill" Voges, William Frederick Sr. "Fred" "Bill", 82, retired woodworker, carpenter and construction contractor, of Woodlake formerly of Wichita, KS slipped away to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, August 1, 2012. He is survived by his wife and love of his life for 61 years, Hartense "Sally" Voges; children, Michael (Jeannie) Voges of Valley Center, Ks, Cecilia (Ralph) Chapman of Woodlake, CA, Tim (Cathy) Voges of Riverside, CA, Mark (Genea) Voges of Newton, Ks, Diane (Tony) Herr of Seymore, IN and Steven (Loretta) Voges of Riverside, CA; 15 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren; brothers, F. Duane (Helen) Voges of New Castle, CA, J. Richard (Marquarite) Voges of Lincoln, NE and C. Lawrence (Arlene) Voges of Otoe, NE; Uncle Joseph Voges of Nebraska City, NE; many other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his son, Rick Voges. Visitation 3-7 p.m. Sunday, August 5, at Smith Family Chapel, 505 E. Pine, Exeter, California.
