Mae R. Miller Mae R. Miller, 91, passed away, March 22, 2014, after residing five years at Quail Park Retirement Village, Visalia, CA. She was born Mae Robbins on January 31, 1923, in Durham, NC, to William and Ethlyn Robbins. Married Roy D. Miller, May 11, 1946, Portsmouth, VA. After living in many areas of the country as the wife of a military Colonel. They retired in Walnut Creek, CA, where she worked for the telephone company for 20 years . She was a pioneering member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church. She volunteered and supported, Telephone Pioneers, Loaves and Fishes and the Bay Area Crisis Nursery. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, playing bridge, and hosting many family gatherings. Preceded in death by her husband, Roy, in 2006 and a grandson, Andrew, in 2011. Survived by four sons, Ron (Lorraine), Rick (Bernadette), Patrick (Kathleen), and Mike (Kristy); 19 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Visitation and Gathering will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 1650 Ygnacio Valley Rd., Walnut Creek, CA. Followed by Mass at 11:30 a.m. Burial following at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Lafayette. Burial will be at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Lafayette, CA.
