Michael Quilla It is with great sadness that the family of Michael Jan Quilla announces his passing, on Wednesday, May 7 2014, at the age of 74 years. Mike will be lovingly remembered by his son, EJ, and daughter, Elizabeth, as well as his grandchildren Jaden, Ezra, and Abigail and his girlfriend Katherine Ramsey. Mike lived in Exeter and Visalia for most of his life. He was a graduate of Mt. Whitney High School. After living in Hawaii, he returned to Visalia with his family. Mike owned a ranch in Visalia for over twenty years before he retired in Exeter. Mike was a talented man who had a passion for his hobbies includinq: boating, snow skiing, fishing, parachuting, sailing, flying planes, traveling, snow skiing and building boats. Recently, he graduated from Wooden Boat School in Maine and brought back the sailboat he built to Exeter. He loved to go boating at the lake and built his very first boat at age 15. Mike loved spending time with his family and friends and always had a smile on his face and a zest for life. Mike meant a great deal to many people and will always hold a special place in their hearts. Services will be held at Salser and Dillard Funeral Chapel in Visalia on Saturday May 17th at 1:00pm.
