Eleanor "Jane" Fleischer Obituary
Eleanor "Jane" Fleischer Eleanor "Jane" Fleischer, 94, passed away on May 23, 2014. She was born Feb. 21, 1920 to Alfred Calvin Greeson and Ruth Emma Farr in Toledo, IL, and grew up in the nearby Greenup, IL. She got a one year scholarship to Blackburn University where she studied Home Economics. The family moved to Tampa, FL where she did a 2 year business school in nine months. She met her future husband Tom at the Mc Dill AFB Officer's Club. She only knew him three weeks before they married in Rupert, GA on Nov. 07, 1953. The new family moved to California in 1954, and settled in Rialto in 1955 where she raised her 3 children. She worked as an executive secretary in the Harris' Department Store in San Bernardino for 25 years. She was an active member of Grace Lutheran Church in Rialto and had the ability to make friends where ever she went. The things she enjoyed most were visiting with family, friends and her beloved cats. She is preceded in death by her parents Alfred and Ruth Greeson, her brother Lyle, and her husband Tom. She is survived by her three children: Paul Fleischer and wife Van of Lancaster, CA, daughter Susan of Seven Valleys, PA, and daughter Penny and Ken Fiser and two grandchildren, Brian and Rachel of Visalia, CA. Visitation will begin at 8:30 AM till 9:30 AM on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at Grace Lutheran Church, 539 N. Acacia, Rialto, CA. A funeral service will be held at 9:30 AM on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at Grace Lutheran Church, 539 N. Acacia, Rialto, CA. Burial will be at March Air Force Base National Cemetery in Riverside, CA.
