Richard Arlen Hildebrand Richard Hildebrand passed away August 19, 2014 at home with his family by his side. He was 70 years old. Richard was born in Seattle, Washington August 18, 1944 to Albert and Ella Hildebrand. He graduated from Lindsay High School in 1963 and attended Porterville, CA College for 2 years. Richard served in the US Army as a military policeman from 1966-1968. He was stationed in Chicago, Ill and Germany during those years. He worked for Frito Lay for 29 years before retiring and two weeks later he went back part time until his illness in 2012. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler fan getting to go to Pittsburgh with his son Jeff on Dec. 6, 2009. He is preceded in death by his mom and dad and his brother Jerry Hildebrand. He is survived by his wife, Janice of 50 years, one son, Jeff Hildebrand of Visalia CA., one daughter Joy Flores, one granddaughter Brittney Cruz of Bryon, GA. and three grandsons Jeffrey Hildebrand of Hanford CA., L.J. Hildebrand of Visalia, Timothy Hildebrand of Riverside CA., one great granddaughter Riley Cruz of Bryon GA., one sister Jeannette Gutierrez of Lindsay, CA. and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service with Military Honors will be held at Salser and Dillard Funeral Chapel in Visalia on Aug. 26, 2014 at 2 PM.
