Mrs. Nancy Lee Lewis of Visalia and former resident of Reseda, California passed away Tuesday September 7, 2010 in Visalia at the age of 62. Mrs. Lewis was born April 17, 1948 in Stamford, Connecticut to Maynard and Esther Adams. Nancy worked in the long term health care industry for many years. First as a CNA, then in social services and then as the Activities Director at Chatsworth Park Health Care Center in the San Fernando Valley, before retiring in 2007. Nancy enjoyed cooking, especially Italian, gardening and watching TV, but above all she enjoyed the time spent with family and friends. She will be always remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She is greatly missed. She is survived by her loving husband Mel Lewis of Visalia; three sons, Scott Vuola of Fresno; Chris Vuola of Visalia; Sean Borjas of Reseda. Two brothers, Maynard Adams of Mililani, Hawaii; Bobby Adams of Lilitz, Pennsylvania; two sisters, Irene Barletta of Danbury, Connecticut; Edna Bardelli of North Hollywood; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sister Pattie Bogus. A private family gathering will held at a later date. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel.
