Carol Ann Fisher Carol Ann Fisher passed away on Monday, December 10, 2012. Carol was born on October 29, 1937 in Chicago, Illinois to William and Marianne Holzapfel. With the help of her dear cousin, Carol met Charles F. Fisher. They were married on December 29, 1962 and Carol started her new life in Tulare, where they would raise their three children. She was a dedicated housewife, mother and grandmother. She was very proud of her grandchildren and loved to cheer them on in whatever sporting event or band competition that they were in. She was the bookkeeper for the family businesses and could be found pulling cotton trailers or out setting water when needed. Carol was an active member of First Lutheran Church, and took great pride in the work they were doing to feed the homeless. She enjoyed every moment spent with her morning bible study group and her monthly Gabby Girl luncheons. She was fortunate to be able to travel the world with her husband, meeting newfound friends each trip. Although reluctant to take in a stray to care for, Carol quickly became inseparable from her dog Schatzie. Carol is survived by her husband, Charles; her children Charlene Daniel (Kevin), Charlotte Corley (Shawn), Charles "Butch" Fisher (Darcey); her grandchildren Allison and Jonathan (Daniel), Logan, Aidan, Adysen (Corley), Taylor and Darrin (Fisher); her brother William Holzapfel of Arlington Heights, Illinois and her cherished niece and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 11:00am on Friday, December 14 at the Lindsay Strathmore Cemetery. Immediately following graveside services, the family would like to invite you to a luncheon to celebrate the life of Carol, to be held at the International Agri-Center. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to First Lutheran Church c/o Carol Fisher Memorial, 525 E. Kern Ave. Tulare, CA 93274. The family of Carol Fisher would like to thank everyone who touched her life. She was truly grateful for all of her wonderful family and friends. She felt truly blessed to be a part of each and every one of your lives.
