Joe Juan Gasca Printing Company Cutter Joe "Papa" Gasca, 58, of Visalia, CA, passed away tragically on January 9, 2013. Joe was born on January 24, 1954, in Los Angeles, CA, to Emilia Gonzales, raised by his stepfather and mother, Regino and Emilia Rosales. He graduated from Woodlake High School in 1972. After which he was hired on at Jostens Printing and Publishing Company. Joe remained with Jostens, until his untimely death, for a span of nearly 40 years. He was a dedicated and diligent employee and will be truly missed. He leaves to cherish his memory his sister Florence, his brothers John and Jesse, the mother of his children Kathy, his children Pamela, Patricia, Bernadette, Joey, and Benjamin, his companion Penny and 9 grandchildren. Papa Joe's favorite pastime was fishing. He taught all his children how to fish and the patience and peace it brought to him. He coached boys and girls soccer for over 20 years. Papa Joe touched the lives of many teaching discipline and fairness through the game. Joe was a member of P.F.S.A. #66, Visalia. A part of our lives has been taken away with his passing, but Papa Joe's memory will stay in our hearts forever. A public viewing will be held from 4pm- 6pm, followed by a rosary service on Wednesday January 23, 2013 at Salser and Dillard Funeral Chapel, 127 E. Caldwell Visalia, CA. Funeral services will be held 11 AM on Thursday, January 24, 2013 at Salser and Dillard Funeral Chapel. Burial immediately following at Visalia District Cemetery.
