Johnny DiMeco Johnny DiMeco was born November 20, 1920 in Newcastle, Penn. He passed away in Visalia, CA at the age of 92. Johnny grew up in Tampa, Florida before moving with his family to Visalia as a teenager. He attended Visalia High School before joining the California Conservation Corps and then enlisting in the US Navy after the war broke in the Pacific. After the war he came home to Visalia where he married the love of his life Mary Magdalene Graziani in 1947. They were married 43 years until her death in 1990. He Co-owned and operated Barq's Bottling Co. with his brothers Phil and Frank. later on he turned a hobby of electronic repair into a small business on into his retirement. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary and Stepson John McKay. Also passing before Johnny were his siblings Frank, Julia, Louie, Phil and Rose. He is survived by his son Kriss DiMeco and granddaughter Jorie DiMeco of Visalia, granddaughter, Kathy and grandson John of Merced, Lesa of Fresno, and Crystal of Visalia, also several great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews who provided great comfort to him in his last few years.
