Norma Pauline Kliewer Dick Loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother passed away in the early hours on Februaury 11, 2013. She was born in Reedley, Ca on November 19, 1930, to Paul and Caroline Kliewer. She was a retired administrator for Clovis Unified Schools, where she worked for 28 years. During her career as an educator, Norma presided as California Reading Association President from 1975-1976. After retirement, she founded the Library Media Credential / Masters Program at Fresno Pacific University. Her passion for education inspired many. She was an outstanding educator and received many honors and awards for her contributions to reading literacy. She was a member of the Fresno First Baptist Church family for over 50 years. She is survived by her husband Don of 63 years, Carol and Robert Vix of Minot, North Dakota, Rebecca and Dan Skaling of San Dimas, Kathleen and Mark Condie of Visalia, five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Josephine Kroeker and Dorothy Kliewer. Memorial Service to be held at 1:00 Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at Fresno First Baptist Church, 1400 E.
