Dorothy Hanson Dorothy Hanson, 99, of Visalia passed away peacefully on Monday, February the 18th 2013 in Visalia. Dorothy was born in Apache, Oklahoma on October the 15th 1914 to Herman and Margaret Huber, and later commuted to Visalia CA after being married to James Hanson. She very much enjoyed quilting, being outside in her garden, and canning goods for the family. Dorothy is preceded in life by her husband James Hanson, and two sons James Andrew and Harold Riley Hanson who passed away at a very young age. She is survived by one brother, Maurice Huber of Oklahoma City, and seven children: Patricia Brazil of Tulare, Mary Singdale of Visalia, Christina Mashler of Visalia, Jimmy Hanson of Visalia, Gregory Hanson of Visalia, Deanna Jackson of Visalia, and Linda Hanson-Wimp of Kingsburg. She also leaves behind many grandchildren and great grandchildren who will miss her dearly. A graveside service will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, February 21st, 2013 at Visalia District Cemetery.
