Alice Richardi Moore Alice Richardi Moore, 97, passed away peacefully in her sleep Saturday, February 23, 2013. She was born in Visalia on April 17, 1915 to Fredrick and Rose Richardi, who were both born in Putigano, Italy, Visalia's sister city. Alice graduated from Visalia Union High School, now Redwood High School, with the Class of 1933. She was married to Kenneth Moore for 69 years until his passing in 2005. For all her married life she helped dad with farming in the Venice Hill area of Visalia. She played semi-professional softball with the Visalia Chicken Hawks in her late teens and early twenties. Her interest included her beautiful garden, traveling, and a great love of bowling and playing bridge with her friends. Her travels took her to Italy with her sister, cruises with good friends, and hunting trips with dad and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, siblings and her husband. She is survived by her daughter Judy Fiscus (Jack) of Three Rivers, son Jerry Moore (Sherry) of Visalia, seven grandchildren, Randy Fiscus (Patti) of Visalia, Lori Lovering of Visalia, Derek Moore (Brandy) of London, England, Jason Moore (Daisha) of Colleyville, TX, Shannon Boswell (Jeff) of Visalia, Carmen Jones (Brooks) of Kirkland, WA and Tiffany Hall (Chris) of Fresno. She also leaves behind 16 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews who were very close to her. The family wishes to express our HUGE thank you to Casa Grande Assisted Living to the owners and all staff members for their wonderful care and support for the last 7 years. She loved all of you as family. Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 3, 2013 from 4 - 7 p.m. at Miller Memorial Chapel, 1120 W. Goshen Avenue in Visalia. Private graveside services will be held at Visalia District Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kaweah Delta Hospice, 900 W. Oak St., Visalia, CA 93292 in the name of Alice Moore.
