Betty Lee (Kirksey) Holt Betty Lee (Kirksey) Holt - former resident of Visalia passed away in Grant Pass, Oregon on January 29, 2013 after a lengthy illness surrounded by her family. Betty was born January 18, 1937 in Visalia, Calif. to Charles and Lois Kirksey. On May 31, 1954 she married Lawrence (Tim) Holt who survives. They moved to Oak View, Calif. then to Grants Pass in 1967. She was a Beautician for 25 years, including owning her own shop in Grants Pass, before retiring in 1995. She enjoyed baking and cooking for her family, ceramics and watching old westerns and "Law and Order" on television. In addition to her husband, survivors include three daughters, Brenda Pinckley of Wasilla, Alaska, Linda Lanham of Tulare, Calif., and Debbie Watson of Woodinville, WA; a brother Pete Kirksey of Silverton, OR; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and a great-great grandchild. A son, Dale Holt, an infant daughter Denise, and two brothers, Howard and Bobby, and two sisters, Opal and Dorothy, died before her.
