Gary Allen Bratcher August 27, 1961 - April 15, 2013 Gary Bratcher, a native Californian, graduated from West High School, Bakersfield, CA. He then served in the U.S. Air Force. After his service, he studied Computer programming and also studied auto mechanics at Bakersfield College where he received a commendation for being on the Dean's List. Gary then went on to become an electrician, his lifelong vocation. Gary was an avid reader and there was no subject he could not discuss with his friends and family. Some of his favorites were World History, Science, and American History, Novels by famous Authors and Artists and writings about the Civil War. Gary is survived by his parents, Elmer and Katherine Bratcher, Visalia; Grandmother Dorothy Beckley, Visalia; Aunts and Uncles Dana Paul and Fay Beckley, Lyndon, WA; Karen and Dennis Metzger, Visalia; Jim and Anna Mae Bratcher, Visalia; Gerald and Lenora Bratcher, Visalia; Glenda and Jerry Taft, Atascadero; Lois Guynn, Ventura and Mr. and Mrs. Michael Bratcher, Ventura. Other survivors include many cousins whom he grew up with. Private Services will be held at the Visalia Cemetery on a future date.
