F.E. (Bud) Rich Born in Exeter, CA March 10, 1922, Bud was orphaned at age 9 & raised by his grandmother during his school years. He later joined the Navy in 1942. He married the love of his life Lorraine Cook. They had three children, daughters Nicola & Marilyn & son Clinton with six grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Bud worked for Southern California Edison Co for 33 years & also had a small olive grove. He was charter president of the Exeter 20/30 club, past member of the Exeter Lions Club, Visalia Elks Lodge, American Legion post 94, Exeter & held offices with the Visalia Gadabouts. He and Cookie were married 70 years until she passed away June 5, 2013. Bud passed away peacefully on July 14, 2014 in Visalia. Services to be held Friday, July 18, 2014 at 11am Exeter Veterans Memorial Building, 324 N. Kaweah with military honors by American Legion post 94. Private burial will be at Exeter Cemetery.
