Alyssa Alcaraz Obituary

Alyssa Joyce Alcaraz

Visalia - Alyssa Joyce Alcaraz,12, of Visalia was granted her angel wings and went home to be with the Lord on December 17, 2017 She was born in Visalia on July 12, 2005 , to Jeremy Alcaraz and Keila Lino. She was our beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, great-granddaughter, niece, cousin and friend. She was a student at Green Acres Middle School, and enjoyed science and choir. Alyssa had a passion for music, not a day went by that she wouldn't sing her little heart out. Now she's singing with the angels. Her hobbies were baking, cooking and spending quality time with her family. She could make a cake better than the "Cake Boss" man himself. Her home cooked meals will surely be missed by her siblings. Alyssa was a brave and strong young woman her entire life, even until her last breath of air. Overall she was an amazing person and will be greatly missed by all of us.

She was preceded in death by her great-grandmother, Rachel B. Rodriguez two uncles Erby Lopez and Phil Guiterrez. Survivors include her father, Jeremy Alcaraz of Tulare; her mother, Keila Lino of Visalia; Two sisters, Mariah and Marissa Alcaraz both of Visalia and one brother; Andrew Alcaraz also of Visalia.

A celebration of life will be held Friday, December 29, 2017 at 10:30 AM at Tulare Community Church. Burial will follow the service at Visalia District Cemetery. Memorial Tributes can be offered by logging onto www.salseranddillard.com.

My heart, thoughts and prayers go out to your family at this time. I cried for you loss. One day all this pain and suffering won't be anymore. You'll see your daughter again in paradise.

I came across your article because My 2 year old is currently sick. She had a fever 103 on 1/12/18 Fri, Sat, Sun and Mon and then the fever didn't come back. Today is now Wednesday 1/17/18 and my daughters fever returned 100. She has a congested cough and snoty nose. I too worried and took her into the Emergency Room today. They told me she simply has a cold and to return if symptoms get worse. I quickly googled flu symptoms and came across your article. After reading your story about your precious Alyssa I have become so terrified. I'm going to try and get an appointment with a doctor in pediatrics tomorrow and will demand a chest X-ray and a blood test be done.

Your story and the memory of your daughter Alyssa will always be in my thoughts.

Im so sorry. I read the article and my heart just goes out to you. If I knew ANYTHING to say to comfort you I would say it..... I know you will see her again but I also know she will be missed everyday, every moment. Time heals? I dont know, it dulls it, I just cant imagine what you are feeling, I have a 14 year old, my heart cries for you, God BLESS YOU.

Reading the news this morning, I read the article raising awareness and the loss of your beautiful daughter. I cried for you this morning and the loss for your family. I pray God will carry you through your grief and provide comfort to your family as you rely on HIs strength and peace. Our hope of enjoying your beautiful girl again is our only comfort as we simply are passing through this world. I will remember this picture of Alyssa and I look forward to meeting her on the other side someday. Thankful her story was brought forward so others are educated as we navigate illness with our children. Let God be glorified through you as you share and her life celebrated daily. God bless you and your family. It is a reminder to all to hug our children tightly each day but surrendering at the same time to Jesus our Savior. God be with you.

She was the most prettiest person I've ever known and she was my best friend ever since 3rd grade. We would always sing Ariana Grande songs around the tree and if anyone would come by we would not even be embarrassed that we were singing very out of tune!! I've been crying for such a long time and went I went to her funeral I cried even more. But I know this isn't the time for being sad for Alyssa... Alyssa would want all of us to know that she is in a better place and that she is way healthier and jaunting with the angels! So, with all of that being said FLY HIGH ALYSSA!!!!❤
