James Robison(1927 - 2014)

Robinson, James M.; age 86; of Fair Haven; died Saturday, July 26, 2014 in the Village of East Harbor. He was born July 28, 1927 in Job’s Cabin, North Carolina to the late Mayford and Clara Roberson. Mr. Robinson was a pharmacist who owned and operated the Foss Drug Store in Fair Haven for seventeen years. He also worked for Revco and CVS for over 20 years. James enjoyed nature. He could tell each bird by its call and his family remembers his all natural home remedies that really worked. He is survived by his children, Linda (Richard) Moore of Fair Haven, Dennis (Karen) Robinson of Algonac, Jay (Marlen) Robinson of Arizona and Ellen Robinson (Eric Seiler) of Florida; twelve grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his first wife, Marion in October of 1974; a son, Allan Vernier in October, 2009 and a brother, Max G. Robinson. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at Starville Community Church, 7436 Starville Rd., Marine City, MI. Visitation will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. Monday, August 4, 2014 in Bower-Rose Funeral Home, Marine City and Tuesday from 10 to 11 a.m. in the church.
