I learned of Donald's death, and that of his granddaughter not long before, only very recently. He was a childhood friend in Sykeston ND, and I'll always remember him as "the Lone Ranger", (to which I was dutifully Tonto, whenever we had occasions to play). My condolences to the family, and he and granddaughter Sam rest in peace. I've gone to the new film, Lone Ranger, and while certainly not the same as I remember from the days when we saw the image only in books, and heard the story only on radio, I still recommend the movie!
