Dear Helen was my "mentor teacher" actually before the mentor teacher program was created! She helped me survive my first 2 years at Irwin and I have been eternally grateful for her kindness and guidance. I learned so much about teaching from Helen. I am sorry I wasn't able to attend her service, I was attending a church service for another angel that passed on. Please accept my sincere condolences, Helen was an amazing person in my life!

To the McCloney Family,
I was saddened to hear about the loss of Mrs. McCloney. She was my teacher at Irwin Elementary school and became such a role model to many of us students back then. Her smile and big heart are just a few of the attributes that made her such an influential impact in the Victor Valley School District. I am so fortunate to have known her and will hold many memories of her to the highest regard. You will remain in my thoughts and prayers.

You all are certainly in our prayers during what we know is a very difficult time. We will certainly miss Aunt Helen here in Beaumont, Texas, but will always have our memories of the summer visits and beach trips. Helen was a wonderful role model as a teacher and friend. I taught with her in the early 80's when I was fresh out of college. She was a sweetheart and friend to Dorothy Kling, my mother- in- law, who has gone on before her. I am sure Helen will be missed by friends and loved ones!
