CHARLES HARLAN CLARKE

CHARLES HARLAN CLARKE 7/16/1920 - 1/7/2014 Charles, born on 7/16/20 in Trumansburg, NY, passed away on 1/7/2014. Charles donated his life to music and in the service of his Lord. He was an active member in churches including St. Mathews Cathedral Durango Co. for 8 years; St. Timothys, Apple Valley, and United Methodist, Hesperia for 5 years. He earned a double Bachelors degree at Northwestern University; he was in the Army/Airforce, & was an organist and member at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Hesperia. He is survived by his lifelong companion, Frank Russell of Hesperia, CA; nieces, Jamie Danforth and family of Denver CO, and Toni Shau and family of Houston, TX; nephews, Tom Gavel of Hesperia, CA and John Russell of Victorville, CA; brother-in-law, Jack Russell of Victorville, CA; and HG Allen & Family of Seattle, WA. Charles was well loved and will greatly be missed, but his music will live forever in our hearts. Services to be held on Saturday, 1/18/14, 10AM, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 9533 Hickory St., Hesperia. Bishop Humphrie officiating.
