Claude Lazenby

CLAUDE LAZENBY Claude Lazenby, age 82, died April 9, 2013 at his home in Lucerne Valley CA. He was a thirty-eight year resident of Lucerne Valley. Claude was born on February 26, 1931 in Phoenix Arizona. He worked as a manager of Urich's Ben Hur gas stations for ten years then worked at Kaiser Cement Cushenbury for twenty years. He retired from Mitsubishi Cement after eight years. Claude enjoyed farming; he sold pistachio nuts from his orchard during the last thirty years he lived in Lucerne Valley. He was a corporal in the United States Marine Corps and served in the Korean War. Claude is survived by his wife of 58 years, Hazel Lazenby of Lucerne Valley, CA; his brother Ronald Lazenby and wife Ann of Lucerne Valley, CA; daughter Claudia Schmidt and husband Mike of Oak Hills, CA; daughter Debbie Lazenby of Lancaster, CA; son Daryl Lazenby and wife Cindy of Lucerne Valley, Ca; daughter Ginger Stuart and husband Don of Lucerne Valley, CA; nine grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. Services were held at Sunset Hills Memorial Park and Mortuary on April, 15th. 2013 with Reverend Larry White officiating.
