Jimmie Ray Robinson

Jimmie Ray Robinson (Robbie) 1/18/1937 - 3/1412014 Mr. Jimmie Ray Robinson (Robbie), born January 18, 1937, passed away the afternoon of Friday, March 14, 2014. He was born in Alabama City, Alabama. He received his education and graduated from Carver High School in Gadsden, Alabama, then enlisted in the US Air Force in 1957. His 26 years served in the military resulted in several tours of duty including Vietnam. After retiring from the USAF in 1981 at George AFB, he worked for government contractors at Fort Irwin Training Base from 1982 until 2003. Jimmie was a former member of the Civil Service & Retirees Club of Victor Valley, The Optimist Club of Apple Valley and was currently a devoted member of the Spirit of Christ Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church. At the time of his departure from this life, he had been a 38 year resident of Victorville, California and was 77 years Blessed. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Robinson; his brother, Eugene Robinson (wife Carolyn) of Baldwin Hills, CA and four daughters: Adrienne Mitchell (husband Melvin)of Tustin, CA; Leslie Robinson- Bridges, Lisa Robinson and Kathye Dudley, residents of Las Vegas, NV. He has 5 granddaughters. Memorial service will be on Wednesday, March 26 at 11:00 a.m. (Viewing, 10:00 - 10:45 a.m.) in the Roy Rogers - Dale Evans Chapel, Sunset Hills Memorial Park, 24000 Waalew Rd, Apple Valley CA 92307. Officiating Clergy - Dr. Dexter Kilpatrick. Burial with military honors will be at the Memorial Park, immediately following the service.
