PATRICIA J KASBON Patricia J Kasbon, 77, of Victorville, CA, died February 16, 2013, at Kindred Hospital in Perris, CA after a short illness. She was born on February 25, 1935, in Chicago, IL, the daughter of the late Thomas and Phoebe Heavey. She graduated from Good Counsel High School in 1952. On September 17, 1960, she married George J Kasbon III. In January 1965 the family moved to Diamond Bar, California. Patricia was a volunteer at the children's elementary school. She was an enthusiastic bowler and participated in several leagues. Patricia worked for Sunkist Growers in Pomona for 4 years, and then at Park Plaza Medical Group in Montclair for 6 years. Patricia and her family moved to Spring Valley Lake in Victorville in 1981. She was an avid golfer and was able to boast that she had 2 hole-in-one's at Spring Valley Lake CC Golf Course. She relocated several times in Victorville and eventually found a home at Sierra Vista Retirement Center on Rodeo Dr, becoming a popular resident within the community. Patricia is survived by her children Deborah (Robert) Papac, Barbara (Henry) Montoya, Mary Campbell and John (Michelle) Kasbon, her 13 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, her brother Thomas Heavey, sister Loretta "Mickey" Owens and 26 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, George J Kasbon III, her daughter, Margaret Anderson, her sister, Clare Evans and a brother, Thomas, who died in infancy. A Mass will be held at Our Lady of the Desert Catholic Church, 18386 Corwin Rd., Apple Valley, CA at 11AM on Friday, March 15, 2013. Father Delwyn G Haroldson will be officiating. A small reception will be held at the church immediately following the service for family and friends. A graveside service will be held at 2PM same day at Sunset Hills Memorial Park in Apple Valley.
