ROBERT DALE PENROD

ROBERT DALE PENROD Born October 17th 1953 in Buffalo, NY. Passed away December 30th 2012 in Paradise Valley, CA. He is survived by his loving fiancee and soul mate, Janet Armendariz; his son, Phillip Penrod and his wife, Trish; his daughter, Melanie Foote and her husband, John; his mother, Eileen Brown; and his 3 sisters. His adopted family, daughter, Sara Masters and husband, Andrew; son, Davy Armendariz; daughter, Sabrina Ellis and husband, Master Mason Brother Andrew Ellis; son, Daniel Armendariz and wife, Molly. He had a total of 15 grandchildren and a lot of people who's life he touched. He came to California in 1970 from Buffalo, New York to join his father in working at Fort Irwin. He was a member of the Army National Guard for 8 1/2 years and received an honorable discharge, 1973-1982. Recent induction into Brotherhood of Free Masonry of Barstow Boron Lodge 682. He worked for the army as a contractor for over 30 years. He was a passionate person for all the things he believed in and worked constantly until his final day. He will always be known for his unique sense of humor that could always brighten people's day and find humor in any situation. Known by some as "Butch" and others as "Robby", he made a huge impact on everyone he came in contact with. Services to celebrate his life will be held at noon on Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013 at the Barstow Masonic Lodge located at 221 Avenue J. All who knew and loved him are invited to attend.
