RONALD BLANKENSHIP SR. Ronald Kenneth Blankenship Sr., passed away on Dec. 31, 2012 in Ontario, Calif. He was born March 5, 1955 in Alhambra, Calif. He was a resident of Barstow for 45 years. He was a 1973 graduate of Barstow High School. He was employed with BNSF as a machinist/journeyman for 35 years. He was the president/local chairman of the International Association of Machinists & Aerospace Workers (IAMAW) for 14 years. He was also a coach for the West Barstow Little League Dodgers. He was an avid fan of the Denver Broncos, LA Dodgers, and NASCAR. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Debby of Barstow; daughters, Megan (Ben) Perry of Barstow and Stephanie (Clint) Ashbrook of Utah; and son, Ronald Jr., of Barstow; and five grandchildren. Services will be held on Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013 at 1 p.m. at Mead Mortuary.
