ADAM JARAMILLO Adam Jaramillo, 70, passed away peacefully at Loma Linda Medical Center on December 21, 2012 surrounded by his loving family. He was born August 18, 1942 in Willard, New Mexico, and has been a resident of Barstow for 60 years. Adam was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church; he loved God and prayed daily, preparing himself to meet his maker. He worked for the Barstow Cemetery District for 42 years, retiring in 2001. Those who know Adam know he was a man full of mischief and fun, a very generous and loving man with a booming voice who will be greatly missed. He loved to garden and go to Stateline. Adam is preceded in death by his parents Lalo and Teofila Jaramillo, and brothers, Raymond Jaramillo, Peter and Paul Lopez, and sister Angie Montoya. Surviving Adam are his wife Julia, sons Ben Jaramillo and Patrick Jaramillo of Daggett, daughter Veronica Cordova and her husband Richard of Barstow, grandchildren Victoria Jaramillo and Ben Jaramillo, Jr., Jason Cordova, and Jennifer Valencia, brothers Albert, Orlando and Arthur Jaramillo, and Joe Lopez, and sisters Dorothy Moya and Eva Lucero. Services for Adam will be on Monday, December 31, 2012 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 505 E. Mt. View. Visitation will be at 9:00 am, Rosary at 10:00 am and the Funeral Mass at 11:00 am, with burial to follow at Mt. View Memorial Park, 37067 Irwin Road.
