ALISHA ARLENE PACHECO-HOODY It is with great love that we celebrate the life of Alisha Arlene Pacheco-Hoody that began in Apple Valley on May 10, 1980. Alisha was raised and lived in Barstow for 32 years, and entered eternal rest November 25, 2012. She was a graduate of Central High School in 1999, and worked for Popeye's Restaurant in Barstow when she was a young adult. She had a love for country music and as a young girl, she played girls softball, soccer and ladies slow pitch. On August 25, 2007, she married Thomas E. Hoody with a ceremony in Las Vegas. Throughout her life, Alisha was outgoing, athletic, always smiling, joking and was a good mother to her four children. She belonged to the Ladies Dart League & Women's Pool League and was an avid, devoted fan of the L.A. Lakers and 49ers. She also loved playing dominos with her brothers and friends. Alisha is survived by her parents Howard Allen Pacheco and Arlene Torivio of Barstow; brothers, Patrick J. Torivio of Victorville, and Steven A. Pacheco (his wife Geraldine) and Marcus J. Pacheco; and nephew, Matthew Reuben all of Barstow. Alisha's husband, Thomas E. Hoody; her son, Cyrus K. Hoody; and daughters, Jadyn R. Hoody, Anizyah A. Hoody and Cera D. Hoody all of Barstow; and many numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her sister, Tracy Marie Robichaw; and grand- parents, Henry and Sara Pacheco and Tsosie and Essie Holona. A Celebration of Alisha's Life will be held on Monday, Dec. 3, 2012, at Barstow's Church Of God In Christ, 1375 Sage Drive. A Visitation will begin at 9 a.m., with services at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Mountain View Memorial Park. Arrangements entrusted to Horizon Memorial Services of Barstow.
