DEBORAH MARIE RODE (DEBBY) Deborah Marie Rode (Debby), 51, of Apple Valley, passed away Dec. 11, 2012 after a five year battle with lung cancer. She was born to Clarence and Mary Rode, Mar. 24, 1961, in Pasadena, CA. Debby graduated from Canyon High School in Canyon Country, CA in 1979. She was a cheerleader during her Sophomore and Junior years. Attended College of the Canyons for two years. She loved sports and was a fan of pro baseball, football, and hockey. Debby worked in the restaurant business for over 20 years, before relocating to the high desert in 2005 to help care for her family. Debby worked for Rock Bottom Micro Brewery. She was employed as a Bookkeeper and Banquet Coordinator, traveling to Boston, Chicago, and Seattle to train the bookkeeping staff when new restaurants were opened. Debby loved her family, and her selflessness touched copious lives and made a difference. Her kindness and generosity will live on in the hearts of many. Debby is survived by parents: Clarence and Mary Rode, of Apple Valley. Siblings: Michael Rode, of Orange; Cindy Andrues, of Victorville; and Vicki DeDiminicantanio, (Dave), of Vista. She also is survived by two nieces and two nephews and one great-niece and five great-nephews, and many cousins here in CA. and OKLA. She will be laid to rest next to her grandfather Rode at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Glendale in March 2013.
