F. EDWARD EARLY F. Edward Early entered into eternal life with his Heavenly Father on November 28, 2012. He was born December 18, 1936. Memorial services will be held on December 18, 2012 at 3:30 pm at the Veterans Home of California, Barstow at 100 East Veterans Parkway, Barstow, Ca. Ed was the beloved husband of Janet F. Early. The father of Edward Erick, and Edward Karl Early and stepfather to Chip Ledington, Cynthia Salazar, Greg Ledington and Eric Ledington. He had 12 grandchildren who were the joy of his later years. He leaves behind his brother Paul Lhamon and sister Carole Burke both of Barstow, Ca. as well as many nieces and nephews. At the time of his passing Ed and Janet resided at the Veterans Home of California-Barstow. Ed was a longtime resident of Victorville. He retired from the Victorville Fire Department as Battalion Chief in 1980. He was proud of his lifetime teaching credentials from Loma Linda University Medical School. He taught fire sciences and EMT classes at Victor Valley Community College in the late seventies. He enjoyed many years in search and rescue, disaster preparedness and the American Red Cross. Ed credited his time in the United Stated Marine Corp as the most significant period in his young life, giving him a sense of honor, dedication and belonging. Semper Fi old marine, firefighter, friend and loved one. You will always be in our hearts till we meet again.
