MICHAEL ALAN OAKLEY Michael Alan Oakley, a life long resident of the High Desert, passed away on December 27, 2012, at the age of 40 doing one of the things he loved most, riding his sand rail at Dumont Dunes with family and friends. Michael was born at George AFB on September 8, 1972, attended local schools and graduated from Apple Valley High School in 1990. On June 24, 1995, he married his soulmate, Tracy Dzida. They bought Tank Products, Inc., a manufacturing company in Ontario, and have two boys, Morgan, 16, and Hunter, 13. Michael lived life to the fullest. He loved restoring old Volkswagens, scuba diving, snowboarding, fishing, and ice hockey. He also loved traveling with family, going to many places over the years. Michael had a huge family and he made each and every one of us feel loved and special. His loud, infectious laugh will ring in our ears forever. He was an extremely humble, kind, and generous person. His wife and sons were the love of his life. He will be missed forever. He is survived by his loving wife Tracy, sons Morgan and Hunter; parents Judi (Bill) Davis, AV and Tim (Pat) Oakley, Valencia; sisters Stephanie Davis, AV and Jenna (Roger) Cox, Thornton, CO; brothers Billy (Linda) Davis, AV and Sean Oakley, Malibu, CA; grandparents Bill and Lillian Davis, AV; grandmother Mary Oakley, San Diego; parents-in-law Joanne (Ray) Lamb, Oak Hills and George (Chris) Dzida, Redlands; and dozens of cousins, nieces, and nephews. A memorial service will be held at Sunset Hills on Monday, January 7th, at 2:00 p.m. The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to
