RICHARD VASQUEZ It is with great love that we celebrate the life of Richard "Richie Boy" Mychal Vasquez that began in Barstow on May 14, 1989. All 23 years of his life was spent in our community. A graduate of Central High School in 2008, he had an amazing talent for video and online games, and was getting ready to pursue that interest in college. He enjoyed sports of all kinds, and was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys. But most of all he loved spending time with his family, having good times with his best friend and brother and babysitting his niece. Richard passed to eternal life on January 10, 2013. Richard is survived by his mother, Rosette Vasquez and his father, Tony Perez of Barstow; 4 brothers, Perry Vasquez, John Mccall Jr. and Josh Perez all of Barstow, and Jessaciah Perez of Texas; 2 sisters, Alexis McCall of Barstow and Julinita Perez of Texas; 4 nieces, Vanessa Vasquez, Vivian and Violeta Burn of Barstow and Mariah Perez of Texas; 6 nephews, Christopher, Zachariah, Erik, Jayson, Jojo Perez and Jessaciah Perez Jr., all of Texas; and sister-in-law, Cintia Vasquez of Barstow. A Celebration of Richard's Life will be held at Trinity Baptist Church, 2790 Barstow Road, on Monday January 28, 2013. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. with Service at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Mountain View Memorial Park in Barstow. Arrangements entrusted to Horizon Memorial Services of Barstow.
