ROBERT KENNEDY Obituary

ROBERT CHARLES "BOB" KENNEDY Robert Charles "Bob" Kennedy, 80, passed away Sunday, April 8, 2012 in Apple Valley. Born in 1932 in Philadelphia, Bob grew up in the suburb of Willow Grove, PA. He graduated from Upper Moreland High School and soon moved to California where he worked in various industries and occupations including becoming a renowned bumper pool and shuffleboard player. Eventually, he settled in Apple Valley, CA where he started a successful insurance agency and raised a family. With his wife Anne, he raised three children, Casey, Robin and Kevin. Bob was a loving, caring and devoted husband and father and proudly watched all of his children graduate college. Bob was active in many local organizations including the PTA, Chamber of Commerce and Lions Club. A lifelong avid baseball fan, Bob grew up rooting for his native city's teams, the Phillies and Athletics. After moving to California, he rooted on his Angels as a 30+ year season ticket holder. Bob will be greatly missed by his family and the many friends he came to know during his years. Bob wished only modest arrangements so services will be private. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to show remembrance should make a donation to Apple Valley Little League in his honor.
