To one of my favorite Uncles, & one of my favorite Cousins, Bob & Johnny, & your extended families...I am so sorry for your loss...I was thinking about Aunt Sandy today & I just can't believe she's gone...I wish with all my heart I could hace see her or even talked to her 1 more time! I would have told her how so many of my great childhood memories came from her!! I would have told her how much I love her & miss her!! I would have sincerely told her how sorry I am that I didn't stay in better contact with her...I love you all & wish I could be there for you at this time!! All my Love...Dawn Smith Powell

To accomplish great things we must dream.

Learn as if you will live forever.

Live as if you were to die tomorrow.

To the family of this wonderful woman, my heart goes out to you and my prayers will be constantly with you. I ask God to give you peace of mind and soul as you learn to live without the physical presence of this angel the Lord blessed you to have for the time she was here with you. Her memory lives on through all of you and she is now watching over you from heaven. You will have good days and hard days but just know that she is still living within you. Love always to all of you.

You have been a friend,a mom that I could talk to about what troubled me. You showed me how to respect myself and others your relationship with your son, husband and family was a examples that put a deep imprint into the way I hold my kids and husband. As I sat with you in the hospital you made me realize that as long as I did what was right no one else and nothing else mattered. To leave love in peoples hearts and to love with all your heart and understanding that was ever lasting. I will miss you dearly thank for so much you didn't even know you did for me. I miss you sorry for not being their all the time. I love you

Everyone in the family remembers your gentle nature. I recall the loving way you treated everyone. The last time I saw you, in Ohio, we had a beautiful day together with our mothers. You shared your faith with me and your love for the family was so obvious by everything you said and everything you did. You are now safe in the arms of Jesus and reunited with your parents, sisters and brother. We will all miss you. Your spirit and inspiration lives on in all our hearts. Your cousin, Nila.

Sorry, I've never told you, all I wanted to say
And now it's too late to hold you
'Cause you've flown away
So far away

Never had I imagined
Living without your smile
Feelin' and knowing you, hear me
It keeps me alive, alive

And I know you're shining down on me from Heaven
Like so many friends we've lost along the way
And I know eventually we'll be together
One sweet day
Eventually I'll see you in Heaven

Darling, I never showed you
Assumed you'd always be there
I, I took your presence for granted
But I always cared
And I miss the love we shared

I know you're shining down on me from Heaven
Like so many friends we've lost along the way
And I know eventually we'll be together
One sweet day
Picture a little scene from Heaven

Although, the sun will never shine the same
I'll always look to a brighter day
Yeah, Lord, I know, when I lay me down to sleep
You will always listen as I pray

And I know you're shining down on me from heaven
Like so many friends we've lost along the way
And I know eventually we'll be together
One sweet day

And I know you're shining down on me from Heaven
Like so many friends we've lost along the way
And I know eventually we'll be together
One sweet day

Sorry, I never told you
All I wanted to say

I will hold you in my heart forever. You were an incredible woman. Thank you for all you taught me, all you shared with me, and for giving me John, Pap & the boys! I will always love you!
Your daughter-in-law,
